NYPL After School is a free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours on Mondays through Thursdays. Join our tutors and Teen Reading Ambassadors for homework help, reading recommendations, fun writing, STEAM, and enrichment activities—and even snacks! No need to register—just show up! Everything is free.

Learn how to hold, click, and move the mouse and practice your typing/keyboarding skills. Registration is not required, but class is limited to first FIVE (5) walk-ins. If no participants show up by 11:20am, class will be cancelled. *As always, programs are subject to cancellation and/or changes*

Brushed by Winter inspired by winter landscapes, this program encourages individuals to use soft, cool tones and gentle brushstrokes to create their own winter scenes. Whether it's snowy forests, frosty mountains, or peaceful winter nights, attendees will learn to capture the quiet magic of winter on canvas. Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop fosters creativity and relaxation amidst the chill of the season.

Come have fun and learn through building with Legos! We have our own Lego table available and many baseplates to create your own mini-world. Come and see what you can create! Families welcome.
