About the Library
Dongan Hills Library is located at the intersection of Richmond Road and Four Corners. This NYPL location, which has occupied its present location since 1975, is a short walking distance from the Dongan Hills train station and is accessible via the S74, S76, and S86 bus lines. The one story, open-concept community library features a large children’s room, an adult reading area, and a designated space reserved for teens. Among the variety of offerings available for all ages, the library hosts regular art programming for adults as well as Toddler Time for children and families. Computers are available throughout the building for all visitors. An avid community partner, Dongan Hills Library staff provide educational support and connect with students via outreach programming at local schools P.S. 11, P.S. 52, and P.S./I.S. 48.
