Join Allerton Library and Bronx Music Heritage Center to learn about the history of salsa music and then take an introductory low impact dance lesson with Jose Henriquez to learn all the basic moves to get you on the dance floor.

Allerton Library will be hosting Culture Pass organizations for art, music, and dance programs throughout the month of May! Register for upcoming programs below: 

  • 5/7/24 from 2-3 PM: Introduction to Salsa Dance with Bronx Music Heritage Center - (Register Above)
  • 5/14/24 from 2-3 PM: Acting workshop with Charles Turner with Bronx County Historical Society- REGISTER 
  • 5/21/24 from 2-3 PM: Drawing Workshop with Artist Elan Cadiz & Sugar Hill Children's Museum - REGISTER
  • 5/28/24 from 2-3 PM:Live Concert by Bronx Opera Company REGISTER
