Please join us for an engaging group conversation on American Sirens: The Incredible Story of the Black Men Who Became America’s First Paramedics by Kevin Hazzard. 

This is a book club, not a lecture. The author will not be present. Reading all or most of the book is encouraged to facilitate discussion. Those unfamiliar with the book, but interested in the book's topic, are also welcome to attend.

The Health & Medical Book Club is a collaboration between Weill Cornell Medicine's Myra Mahon Patient Resource Center & New York Public Library's 67th Street Library. We have copies of the book at 67th Street Library (328 E. 67th Street), and you can ask for one at the 1st floor desk. Please know that we will be closed April 19 to approximatley May 4.
